About 1,700 sick Palestinian are serving prison terms at Israeli jails, a repot by the Palestinian Union of Health Work Committees.
Of the prisoner, 25 are suffering cancer, the club added.
In a statement marking the Prisoner Day, the club added that the Israeli occupation authorities provide the prisoners with painkillers and deprive them from receiving proper treatment. The prisoners are also deprived from seeing their doctors, the club noted.
It called on all concerned authorities to exert efforts to secure the release of the sick Palestinian prisoners.
