Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab said on Monday the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) will give a hand in the State strategy to face challenges posed by overpopulation.
Mahlab, speaking at a conference organized on the occasion of 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Egyptian public statistics authority, expressed appreciation for all workers of the agency.
He added that the agency offers great help to decision makers by giving them accurate statistics and data on any issue they are handling.
Mahlab honored pioneers of statistics who served in the agency before.
