Mohammad Al-Shaar discusses with Stillhart ICRC work in Syria

Interior Minister Mohammad al- Sha’ar on Tuesday discussed with Dominik Stillhart, Director of Operations at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the accompanying delegation the work of ICRC in Syria and the facilities provided by the Ministry on the Syrian territories.
Interior Minister expressed appreciation over the efforts exerted by the ICRC in the humanitarian field, highlighting full cooperation with international organizations taking care of the humanitarian side.
al-Shaar clarified that the government is working on securing all the requirements for the citizens who were affected due to the terrorist atrocities, pointing out to the importance of cooperation between the Ministry and ICRC in a way that serves the humanitarian side.
for his part, Stillhart thanked the efforts provided by the Ministry and the facilities given to ICRC for making its task in Syria a success, stressing high coordination between the two sides.
he added that ICRC it is ready to provide help for administrating prisons in terms of services and health.
