Head of the supreme council of the popular resistance in Yemen's Taiz city Sheikh Hamoud al Mikhlafi called on the government delegation to withdraw from Kuwait-hosted talks as Houthi militants and former Yemen president Ali Abdullah Saleh's supporters failed to adhere to the truce.
In an interview with Yemen's Belqees TV channel on Thursday, Mikhlafi said that they violated the UN-brokered ceasefire in Yemen more than 3,000 times since it came into effect on April 11.
The truce is supposed to set the scene for peace talks in Kuwait.
