Yemeni citizens hails UAE's relief aid

Yemeni citizens in Abyan and Al-Houta provinces in the Lahij Governorate, have extended thanks and appreciation to the UAE's leadership, government and people for their continuous support to Yemen, especially the continued humanitarian and relief aid provided by the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC).

Earlier, the ERC launched a campaign to distribute 10,500 food baskets to the Yemeni citizens in these areas to alleviate their humanitarian suffering.

They also confirmed that the relief aid distributed by the ERC in Zanzibar Directorate, Khanfar, Al Houta and other areas arrived at the right time since the people in these areas were witnessing dire living conditions. Some 6,500 families benefited from the assistance across the governorate.

Dr. Al Baghdadi (a Yemeni citizen) has extended thanks and appreciation for the major role being played by the UAE's wise leadership and the ERC for continuously providing assistance to the Yemenis in various governorates.
