Works Minister inspects infrastructure after rainfall

Works, Municipality Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam Khalaf paid inspection visits, alongside officials from the ministry, to Manama, Isa Town and Hamad Town to follow up on the condition of the infrastructure after the heavy rain witnessed by the kingdom. He got informed about the efforts to suction and drain water. He directed to intensify efforts to alleviate the suffering of citizens, pointing out the direct follow-up of the emergency crew round the clock to ensure fast suction and drainage of water.
The minister hailed the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to beef up readiness to alleviate the impact of the heavy rain witnessed by Bahrain. He lauded HRH the Premier’s field visit to many areas which reflects keenness to reach out to people’s needs and cater to them. He also praised cooperation with Heads of the four Municipal Councils and members as well as the Housing Ministry and the Civil Defence.
