Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi stressed the importance of integration between legislative and executive authorities within the framework of cooperation between people and the state to build the homeland.
During a meeting with some members of the People’s Assembly representing Idleb province, the Premier reiterated the government’s keenness on direct communication with civilians to conquer obstacles and improve the quality of services provided to them, in addition to enhancing their participation in making decisions that are relevant to their needs and aspirations.
He pointed out that boosting security, stability and national economy requires mobilization of all capabilities, highlighting the government’s interest in improving the services and living conditions of people in the northern province as to enhance the social stability.
Al-Halqi noted the efforts exerted to upgrade the performance of the governmental administrative sector in Idleb, facilitate procedures, reduce bureaucracy, and confront corrupt practices to provide citizens with better services.
For their part, the MPs praised the government’s efforts to face the unjust war which Syria is going through, particularly within the framework of bolstering national economy and providing citizens’ basic needs and services.
The meeting dealt with the importance of activating national reconciliation, the possibility of establishing a new university, resolving stalled loans for low-income people through rescheduling, rehabilitating government institutions, and providing medical equipment to hospitals, in addition to paying more attention to the agricultural sector.
