Suicide Bombing Attempt Thwarted in Beirut

The Lebanese Army Intelligence thwarted on Saturday night a suicide bombing attempt on Hamra Street in Beirut.
According to Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA), the security forces managed to foil the attempted suicide bombing by a young man wearing an explosive belt under his jacket, as he intended to blow himself up inside "Costa Cafe" on Hamra Street in Beirut.
The suicide bomber was immediately arrested and transferred to the Defense Ministry.
NNA denied any presence of another suicide bomber, as circulated by certain media.
