Sarraf, Aoun discuss needs of military establishment

National Defense Minister, Yacoub Sarraf, visited on Tuesday Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, at the latter's Yarzeh office. Talks between both men reportedly touched on the required tasks and needs of the military establishment.
Separately, General Aoun welcomed MP Bahia Hariri, and Lebanese Army former commander, General Jean Kahwagi, with discussions featuring high on the general situation at the local and regional scenes.
Aoun also received former Lebanese congressman, Ray Lahoud, accompanied by Adib Kassis. He also welcomed famed Lebanese singer, Majida Al Roumi
The Army Commander also welcomed a delegation from the Defense Institution Reform Initiative (DIRI) of the US Department of Defense. The meeting discussed areas of cooperation between both sides and means of enhancing the capabilities of the Lebanese Army
