Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali said that the ministerial decision, pertaining to closing some religious institutes affiliated to NGOs, was made after coordinating with Al Azhar and Awqaf (Endowments) Ministry.
Some news were fanned about the decision on social networking websites.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the ministry underlined that such institutes do not have licenses from Awqaf Ministry and teach curricula that are not authenticated by Al Azhar the matter which makes it a source for spreading wrong conceptions about Islam.
