
A number of politicians have praised the decision by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to appoint Ahmad Gamaleddin and Fayza Abul-Naga as advisors on security and anti-terror, and national security.
Ahmad el-Fadali, leader of Independence Current said Egypt needed such respectable officials to handle the threats to national security.
Former MPs Union has also lauded the decision.
Secretary General Yasser el-Qadi said the decision was a right step due to their long expertise.
"Abul-Naga has a long expertise and played a vital role in improving out relations with the Africans," he said.
