Security readiness hailed

Interior Minister Lt-Gen Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al khalifa today was congratulated by Southern Governor Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa on the success of the GCC joint-security exercise concluded yesterday in Bahrain. 

The Southern Governor, on behalf of the governorate's citizens, extended felicitations to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the high readiness enjoyed by the security forces to foil attempts target undermining national and Gulf security and stability. 

He noted the Interior Ministry's efforts contributed to the success of the exercise, praising the Interior Minister's keenness on developing the readiness of the national security forces. He lauded the participation of the Gulf security forces and their developed capabilities. 

He said the joint exercise reflects the Gulf leaders' keenness on boosting the joint GCC action.
