
The Saudi-Egyptian committee will start preparatory meetings for its fifth round, which will take place on Wednesday and Thursday in Cairo.
The Saudi side will be chaired by Commerce and Industry Minister Tawfiq bin Fawzan al Rabiah, while the Egyptian side by Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qandil, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The committee meeting will convene in tandem with meetings of the Saudi Egyptian trade and investment forum, the Saudi Egyptian Business Council and a fair for Saudi exports, the news agency said.
The committee will discuss means to promote trade exchange and provide facilitations to boost trade and investment rates in the two countries as well as difficulties facing Saudi investments in Egypt.
The volume of trade exchange between the two countries hit 23.806 billion Saudi riyals in 2015.
