Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has ordered the termination of permits formerly granted to Iranian Mahan Airlines Company.
The GACA also banned the Iranian company's flights to land at the Kingdom's airports or fly over its airspace, GACA said in statement carried by Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Within follow-up of the performance of foreign air carriers operating in Saudi Arabia, the GACA monitored a number of violations committed by the Iranian Mahan Company against the national regulations and relevant laws breaching the safety of international aircraft operators in the Kingdom, the statement said.
