President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s week saw a flurry of activity as he held meetings at the internal and foreign levels.
On the internal front, Sisi had meetings on the development of Sinai, the establishment of development projects and urban expansion.
He also held meetings with international envoys from Africa and Italy, the finance ministers of Saudi Arabia and the UAE and a delegation from the European Union.
At the start of the week, Sisi received a delegation of the national independent fact-finding committee tasked with investigating all events in Egypt since the June 30 Revolution.
The delegation handed over the committee's report on Sinai incidents to the president, which will be complete by November 21.
The Sinai report covered the outcome of the field visits to Sinai and detailed information about the activities of the extremist groups in the Egyptian peninsula, as well as the operations they launched against security forces and economic establishments.
Sisi entrusted the government with studying the report and examining the measures that will be taken in this regard.
