
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has expressed pride in the successive honouring of the kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Such honouring reflects the appreciation and positive attitude of the world countries and organisations of the kingdom's landmark achievements and successes, he said, valuing highly the noble feelings showcased by the citizens following his winning of a number of prestigious international awards.
HRH Premier was speaking as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Speaker of the Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Royal Family members, ministers, intellectuals and editors-in-chief of daily newspapers.
The audience lauded HRH Premier's landmark contributions to the kingdom's development march, affirming that the multiple international awards bestowed upon HRH Premier are not enough to pay tribute to him as, they said, he deserves honouring in every field.
HRH the Prime Minister praised the key role played by the National Press to enlighten the public opinion and reflect the pulse of the street in Bahrain, praising its commitment to the 'constructive' national values.
He underlined his keenness to embrace and take care of creative journalists and media personnel and support their professional rights.
