
Minister of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform Ashraf El Araby said that Egypt is heading toward the digital society.
Addressing a symposium on census and public establishments, the minister said Egypt 2030 strategy has been drawn up, pointing out that the House of Representatives will discuss the strategy.
Minister Araby pointed out that during his recent visit to Washington he floated at the World Bank Egypt's expertise in the success of bread and supply system.
He stressed the importance of the presence of a data base in the ministry of health offices in the governorates to follow up the census.
For his part, head of the national planning institute Abdel Hamid Al Qssas said the presence of population on 10 percent of the country's lands caused an imbalance in population distribution.
