Cairo - Arab Today

Minister of Planning Ashraf el Araby said the amendment introduced to the civil service law matched the eight remarks issued by the House of Representatives after the rejection of the law.

In press statements on Wednesday, the minister said the most important amendment to the law focused on the article of annulling gradual sanctions against civil servants.

He said the amendment stipulated that the civil servant will have the right to challenge any sanction.

The minister said the new media law has been discussed by the Cabinet and is due to be sent to the House of Representatives after the Cabinet ends the discussion.
