Cairo Airport authorities arrested on Tuesday an Egyptian passenger after trying to smuggle EGP 100,000 to Kuwait, an airport official said.
The man was hiding the money in his luggage, the official added.
Under airport currency regulations, passengers should not carry in cash more than USD 10,000 and their equivalents.
