Palestine President, Arab League chief discuss Gaza reconstruction conference

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas briefed Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Araby Saturday on tomorrow's conference on the reconstruction of Gaza Strip, as well as conditions of the Palestinian people.
They discussed the developments in the region in general and in the Palestinian territories in specific in addition to agenda of the Gaza reconstruction meeting, due in Cairo tomorrow, Al-Araby said in a brief statement to reporters after the meeting.
He said Abbas briefed him on the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, noting a special UN Security Council (UNSC) session on palestine.
Meanwhile, Abbas held a separate meeting with Al-Araby and Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukry to coordinate positions over the reconstruction meeting.
