The coming extraordinary meeting of the Arab League, scheduled to take place in Cairo on Sunday, will discuss one item only, namely Iran's violations of the Saudi embassy and consulate, a high-level official at the pan-Arab body said.
The official, who declined to give his name, told Al Iqtisadia newspaper out Thursday that most of the Arab countries do not accept Iranian acts that totally contradict with all international norms and conventions.
He expected that 18 Arab countries will vote at the Arab League for condemning Iranian violations which means an unanimous vote.
He said debates at the Arab League council on Wednesday showed that three countries will not vote for Iran's condemnation but he did not name them.
Upon a request by Saudi Arabia, the Arab League called for holding an extraordinary meeting at a ministerial level to discuss Iran's violation of the Saudi Embassy and Consulate.
