Head of the Salafist Al Nour Party Younis Makhyoun met on Wednesday with Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab during the latter's visit here to inspect the site of the school bus crash which took place early in the day leaving 17 students dead.
Addressing Makhyoun, the premier stressed the need for eliminating remissness in the state.
Makhyoun, meanwhile, asked Mahlab to pay due attention to the Cairo-Alexandria road to prevent accidents there.
As many as 17 students were charred in a fire that was caused by the collision of their bus with two private vehicles and a truck on Cairo-Alexandria road near Beheira province.
