
Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of State for Tolerance, has said that the UAE is providing its humanitarian assistance to all without regard to race, religion, sex or colour.
In her statement on the occasion of the International Day of Charity, which falls tomorrow, Sheikha Lubna, said that late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his fellow founding fathers were keen to make humanitarian work a cultural and an immortal value in the hearts of the people of the UAE and that this legacy was followed by UAE wise leadership.
Sheikha Lubna said that President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and the Rulers of the Emirates, attach great importance to humanitarian work. She hailed UAE's humanitarian role which promotes the international stature of the country in the field of humanitarian work and foreign aid.
She commended the great humanitarian work of the UAE's donor agencies in various countries and the regions, which contribute positively to the alleviation of the suffering of the people affected by crises, disasters and wars.
