The Lebanese army on Tuesday started implementing its military plan to prevent the entry and exit of the gunmen from the border town of Arsal northeast of Lebanon.
The Army cut the only road in Al-Hoson ravine that connects Arsal with the camps for the displaced Syrians deployed in the region as part of the new plan, which was carried out to prevent the movement of militants, official media sources said.
Al-Hoson ravine in the town of Arsal witnessed violent clashes during the battles that took place between the army and armed groups beginning last August which lasted six days and led to the killing and wounding of dozens. (end) osm.ss
