Bahrain’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Hmoud bin Abdulla Al Khalifa has extended deepest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.

The ambassador extended congratulations to the leadership on the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 46th anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 18th Anniversary of HM the King's Accession to the Throne.

In a press statement on the occasion, the ambassador said that the national days are dear to every Bahraini citizen, wishing the Bahraini people ever-lasting security, stability and progress, under HM the King’s leadership.

He asserted that Bahrain has made major development strides under the pioneering Reform Project spearheaded by HM King Hamad.

The ambassador voiced pride in the positive results following the inception of the democratic march in the kingdom, the consolidation of constitutional institutions, and the complimentarily and cooperation among the constitutional branches, which, he said reflects the Bahraini people’s confidence in its leadership, adherence to the democratic process and awareness of the importance of security and stability, being the bulwark for sustainable comprehensive development.

He stressed that Bahrain’s stances towards GCC, Arab, regional and international issues are clear and firm, and are based on mutual respect, understanding, cooperation and common interests.

The ambassador lauded the deep-rooted fraternal Bahraini-Saudi relations, describing them as exemplary.
