Undersecretary of the Labour and Social Development Ministry, Sabah Salim Al-Dossary, has opened a workshop organised by the Ministry on Labour Law for the Private Sector promulgated by Law 36/2012.
The Labour Ministry's Legal Consultant Dr. Abdulbassit Abdul-Mohsen lectured during the workshop, in the presence of 55 human resources officials from private sector companies and institutions.
Al-Dossari asserted that the workshop is within the Labour Ministry's strategic plan to raise the awareness of employers and employees on the best professional practices, and promote the labour law culture and values among the two production parties.
This, he said, will contribute to reducing labour complaints and disputes, and create a secure and stable work environment that stimulates giving and more production.
The workshop featured an overview of the Labour Law for the Private Sector.
The lecturer also explained the provisions of the Law, and answered the queries of the participants on it.
