Kuwait affirms the Palestinian people's right for full sovereignty over their lands, said a Kuwaiti diplomat here.
Addressing a UN economic committee meeting, Kuwait's permanent delegate Ahmad Al-Wazzan renewed his country's support to the Palestinian right for full sovereignty over the territories, occupied by Israel.
Al-Wazzan said that Kuwait will provide USD 200 million in the three upcoming years to help the Gaza Strip to recover from the vicious Israeli assault.
He called on the international community to pressure Israel to stop hostile and inhumane practices against the Palestinian people and also asked the world to recognize Palestine as a state.
Israel should halt all its injust acts against Syria, Palestine and Lebanon, said Al-Wazzan, noting that the world should not stand silent against Israeli atrocities.
