Kidnapped girl found, says Royal Oman Police

A kidnapped teenage girl was found in Maabela, officials announced.
A source from the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has said that the Department of Criminal Investigation, led by the South Batinah Police, were able to locate a thirteen year old girl on Friday afternoon in Al Maabela. The girl was found after her parents reported her missing on Thursday afternoon.
Further investigation revealed that one of the suspects was able to lure the girl through her social media account.
The source warned parents of the necessity to monitor and protect their children from becoming victims on social media, by establishing safety guidelines
