
Minister of State for Media Affairs and Communications and Government Spokesman Mohammed Al Momani has underlined the importance of the moderate voices in the Arab media discourse.
During a visit to the Kuwait News Agency (Kuna) on Sunday, the minister highlighted the importance of the enlightenment role played by the media to increase awareness of the Arab citizens on the challenges and dangers of terrorism and extremism.
He also called for closer cooperation between Kuna and the Jordan News Agency (Petra), including exchanging expertise. Meanwhile, Momani praised the role played by Kuna and its portfolio of media services.
Director General of Kuna, Sheikh Mubarak Al Dueij welcomed the visit of Momani, and said that he looks forward to boosting cooperation with Petra.
