MP Shant Shinshinian said in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station that the resignation of Prime Minister Saad Hariri has come into effect, and everything said about its unconstitutionality makes no sense.
"The repercussions of Hariri's resignation are not yet clear," he said, calling for "neutralizing Lebanon from the escalatory steps going on in the region, and keeping it away from regional conflicts."
Addressing Hezbollah, the MP called on the party "to put Lebanon's interest above all considerations and return from Syria."
"The Lebanese forces will be on the sovereign front, alongside the Future Movement, during the next stage," he said
