Fatah movement has slammed its rival Hamas for a series of bombings that targeted the podium placed to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the death of late president Yasser Arafat and Fatah leaders' homes in the Gaza Strip, said a statement by Information and Culture Commission.
Such terrorist acts together with Israeli occupation action in Al-Quds (Occupied East Jerusalem) will not deter Fatah members of observing the tenth anniversary of Arafat, the statement said.
Earlier in the day, a number of explosions targeted Arafat’s podium along with homes and vehicles of Fatah leaders, causing minor damage to the surrounding area.
There were no reports of injuries.
