
Giza governor Ali Abdul-Rahman visited Wednesday the Talbiya police station deputy investigator, who was shot outside his house by unknown people.
Abdul-Raman was reassured on the health condition of Captain Mohammad Tawfieq Al-Ashri from the medical teams at the Agouza Police Hospital.
The governor underscored the sacrifice of police and army to establish security for residents.
Al-Ashri was shot from the back early Tuesday while returning his home at Giza district of Bolaq.
An armed man opened fire at the police investigator, in his 40s, while he was coming home at the early hours of Tuesday.
