A security source informed that Iraqi Federal Police forces managed to liberate Youth and Sports Directorate in Mosul, Alsumaria News reported on Monday.

The source said, “Federal Police troops managed, today, to liberate the Youth and Sports Directorate in the city of Mosul, after fierce battles with the Islamic State.”

“The troops raised Iraqi flag over the building of the directorate, after inflicting heavy human and material losses on the Islamic State group,” the source added on condition of anonymity.
