Cairo - Arab Today

The framers syndicate thanked President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Prime Minister Sherif Ismail for removing obstacles facing supplying wheat.

The head of the syndicate Wageh Eisawy Dawod called for creating more silos, punishing violators as well as halting the importation of foreign goods.

The three-month wheat harvest began mid-April.

The government expects that 4 million tons of wheat to be supplied by farmers by the end of the set time.

Egypt, the world's largest wheat importer, has banned the trading of imported wheat in the domestic market without permission from the supply ministry during this year's harvest season, from April to July.
