
In implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the orders of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the U.A.E. Armed Forces, the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has started distributing humanitarian aid to displaced people in Iraq's Kurdistan Region.
A delegation from the ERC arrived earlier in Erbil City in coordination with the U.A.E. Consulate to oversee the distribution of aid which will go on for several days and cover different areas of the region.
ERC's food aid for the displaced include food baskets for whole families and special baskets for mothers and children.
ERC delegation has already sent thousands of food baskets to the displaced in Erbil.
In the coming days, ERC is sending more aid to more beneficiaries in other areas of the region.
