Egypt's Mufti calls for intensifying preemptive strikes against terror groups

Egypt's Mufti Shawqi Allam has hailed the sacrifices of the Egyptian Armed Forces, calling for intensifying attacks on the terrorist groups that seek to spread violence and damage in the region.
The Mufti's remarks were made in the wake of the terrorist attack that hit Qawadis neighborhood in Northern Sinai, leaving 24 terrorists and four army personnel killed.
In a statement released on Monday, Allam pressed for the need for intensifying preemptive attacks against terrorist groups which destabilize the country's stability and security.
He asserted that the Army's success to foil the terrorists' attack in al Qawadis reflected the alertness of the army in standing against all devilish schemes drawn up against the country.
The Mufti extended condolences to the families of the martyrs and wished that stability and security to prevail in the country.
