
Chief Justice Ahmad Hilayel, on Tuesday discussed with a delegation representing Dubai Courts the prospect for exchanging expertise between the two countries in the Sharia courts and in personal status areas.
Head of the team and President of the Dubai Personal Status Court, Salem Obeid al Othman, presented a briefing on his court's various tasks and the kind of cases it deals with.
The chief justice said that the visit aimed at strengthening ties, exchanging expertise and signing a memorandum of understanding with the Dubai Courts.
The delegation requested that more Jordanian Sharia law judges be recruited in the Dubai courts.
