Christians complain to parliament suffering from militias in Baghdad

A statement by Speaker's media office said today: ' Speaker Saleem al-Jubouri listed during receiving a delegation of Iraqi Christian communities headed by patriarch of the Chaldeans in Iraq and the world , Louis Raphael 1st Sacco,to the suffering of Christians in Iraq in recent times at the hands of Daash and militias in the same time.
The delegation stressed the need for support by the State for the purpose of enable Iraqi Christians to stay in their homeland of Iraq, noting that their suffering is not by Daash gangs in some areas of Iraq , but that the Christians in Baghdad are suffering from the threat of militia who seize their property and possessions.
