Bahraini interior undersecretary, BIA discuss enhancing traffic safety

Interior Ministry's Undersecretary, Maj-Genl Khalid Salem Al-Absi, today received Bahrain Insurance Association (BIA)'s delegation led by President, Younis Jamal Al-Sayed.
The parties discussed enhancing traffic safety through participating in the national media campaign aimed at enhancing information about the traffic law. They also discussed privatization of a number of services of the General Directorate of Traffic (GDT), in line with the directives of Interior Minister, Lt-Gen Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
Maj-Gen Al-Absi commended BIA's role in disseminating traffic awareness to attain traffic safety.
The meeting was attended by GDT Deputy Director, brigadier Mohammed Rashid Al-Nuaimi, BIA Vice President, Waleed Ahmed Mahmoud, BIA Board Member, Fadi Al-Khateeb, and BIA Public Relations Director, Sara Abualfateh.
