He conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to Al-Ahram journalists and thanked them for the initiative of Al-Ahram Al-Arabi to issue a supplement, marking Bahrain’s National Day, and select the King as "King of Peace".
He conveyed HM the King’s appreciation for choosing Manama to hold Al-Ahram Cultural Festival, themed "Together we defeat terrorism", in February, under the royal patronage. Abdulmohsen Salama lauded deep-rooted relations binding Egypt and Bahrain, stressing the importance of consolidating media communication, exchanging delegations and training programmes.
Ala’a Thabet hailed strong bilateral relations, paying tribute to HM the King for supporting Egypt’s leadership and people, saying that the security of Egypt is inseparable from Bahrain, the GCC countries and the region.
