
An arms depot was found on Tuesday in Ben Guerdane, governorate of Tunisia's Medenine, the Interior Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The depot contained 29 pieces of weapons Kalashnikov type, three RPG rocket launchers, 130 machine guns and boxes for 9,520 cartridges for Kalashnikov chargers 7.62 millimeter, according to the Tunisian news agency (TAP).
This cache of weapons was discovered after investigations conducted as part of the terrorist operation investigation of El Mnihla (governorate of Ariana), of last May 11.
During El Mnhila operation two terrorists were killed and six others were arrested by the security forces. Quantities of weapons were also seized, said the Interior Ministry after the operation.
