The first meeting of the joint committee of experts and representatives of the ministries of justice and interior in Arab states kicked off at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo under Karim Khasbak, the head of Iraq's delegation to the gathering.
The participants will discuss during the two-day meetings efforts to revive the Arab agreement on combating terrorism, said Khasbak.
The meeting is in implementation of the resolution of the executive bureau of the Arab justice ministers that called for reviewing ant-terror legislation.
On Arab cooperation to fight terrorism, Khasbak said the Arab group already cooperates on fighting terrorism especially in Iraq and Syria.
