Information Minister, Melhem Riachi, declared in the wake of the Baabda dialogue meeting that President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, shall take the appropriate decision on the wage scale based on discussions and viewpoints expressed by all concerned sides in this regard.
"The file is in the hands of the President and he will decide on the matter," Minister Riachi said.
The Minister pointed out that conferees held profound discussions over the question of approving the salary scale or not, saying discussions were "frank" with all sides stating their own point of view on the matter.
Riachi said that Finance Minister, Ali Hassan Khalil, gave his opinion on the wage scale revenues, adding that there was discrepancy over certain viewpoints
