Aoun meets Fillon's advisor: Lebanon will respect will of French

President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, met on Saturday with Jerome Chartier, the special advisor of the French candidate Francois Fillon, at Baabda Palace. Jerome conveyed Fillion's greetings and apologies for not being able to come to Lebanon as it was planned earlier.
Chartier expressed Fillion's keenness on boosting the Lebanese-French relations and that Lebanon would always be at the forefront of his concerns.
During their talks, discussions reportedly featured high on the situation in Lebanon, Syria and developments in the region.
