MP Walid Khoury on Friday maintained that President Michel Aoun had wide powers and a huge responsibility to reach a solution to the salary scale issue.
"The budget should have been endorsed prior to the scale," Khoury told an interview with Voice of Lebanon radio station.
On the upcoming ministers' visit to Syria, Khoury said that there was coordination between Lebanon and Syria on the security and diplomatic levels, and that ministers could visit Damascus.
"How can we not speak to the Syrian government while there are two million Syrian refugees in Lebanon," he wondered
