
Eleven persons were killed and three others wounded Sunday in a collision of two vehicles on Sohag International Airport road.
Sohag Security Director General Mostafa Moqbel said he received a report on the collision of a microbus and a vehicle on the desert road of Gerga township.
Ambulances rushed to the scene of the accident and moved the bodies to Gerga Public Hospital and Monshaa Central Hospital, while the injured were admitted to Sohag Public Hospital and Sohag University Hospital.
Policemen and a number of executive officials also moved to the scene to inspect the scene of the accident.
The Prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
