Yemeni defense minister sees off Russian ambassador

Defense Minister Mohammed Nasser Ahmed the Russian ambassador to Yemen Sergei Kozlov on the occasion of ending his diplomatic tenure in Yemen. At the meeting, the Defense Minister valued highly the sincere efforts made by the ambassador to broaden and deepen the cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries and the two armies. The meeting touched on a number of issues of common concern, including the military cooperation in the technical fields , training and rehabilitation and arming. For his part, the Russian ambassador expressed his delight for the care and attention given to him during his term, confirming that he would work on supporting Yemen from his new position at all aspects. At the end of the meeting, the minister gave the ambassador the Shield of the Defense Ministry in recognition of his effective role in establishing the constructive partnership fundamentals between the two friendly countries and armies.
