US won't deliver fighter jets to Egypt; calls for peaceful protests

The United States will be "consulting with Congress" on a way to move forward in Egypt, but it will not deliver fighter jets to General Abdel-Fatah El-Sisi, revealed the State Department on Wednesday. "Given the current situation in Egypt, we do not believe it is appropriate to move forward with the delivery of F-16s at this time," said Spokesperson Jennifer Psaki.
