UN to support Pakistan after a devastating earthquake

The United Nations confirmed its readiness to provide humanitarian assistance and to drum any required international support to Pakistan after a devastating earthquake hit it. The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon expressed sadness about the effects of the strong earthquake that shook Pakistan at magnitude of seven degrees and eight-tenths of degree on the Richter scale two days ago. The earthquake that hit Balochistan, killed hundreds of people and destroyed thousands of homes .
