Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said on Monday that a Syrian helicopter was crashed by Turkish fighter jets at 14:25 along Turkish-Syrian border. Speaking at a press conference following the meeting of Council of Ministers, Arinc stated that the Syrian helicopter breaching the border was down by Turkish fighter jets taking off from Turkey's eastern Malatya city. "Upon 2-km border breach, the Syrian helicopter was constantly warned by Turkish air defense forces. As the breaching continued, our fighter jets taking off from Malatya hit the Syrian helicopter at 14:25 local time and it fell down to Syrian land, as officials said," he added.
